Learn how to Customize Headphones

Have a look under the pictures to learn step by step how Bobsmade customize

headphones. It takes around 6hours.

here is everything you will need:

  • headphones ( i use Philips Shp 1900 - 15€)
  • permanent paint ( Molotow One for All - one color bottle costs 17€)
  • permanent Marker (Posterman from 3€ , Faber Castell Multimark 1€)
  • a old clean cloth
  • thinner  4€
  • varnish (Prisma colour spray 6€)
  • some tape 1€
So if you have to buy everything new, inkl. 3 Molotow colors you have to spend around 80€ just for the materials. Its maybe not bad to think about to order some from Bobsmade :)  There you find also more examples
Good luck if you try it yourself, and show your work if you want, by send me a picture to -> contact@bobsmade.com

Hi, I've read the tut and found it to be quite enlightning. However I still have a few questions!

    1) How many colors do you advise buying? (from the one4all range)
    2) Do the refills already come with the markers? (like the ones you used to paint the grey parts on the picture of the tutorial)
3)Any other brands you advise buying?

    Thank you!

P.S.: You're drawings are awesome, just thought you should know!

It's hard for me to find Mowlow paints at the store, and I'm not allowed to shop online yet. Are there any other brands that could replace Molotow that I could buy at a craftstore?

What qualifies a permanent paint to be permanent? What makes it different from other paints? I'm trying to find other permanent paint brands that I can buy at Micheals,Joann fabrics and so on.

@reakid you don't have to buy materials by these brands. Every other aceton and spray should work, too.

@rahma just try it :) but permanent paint would be much better.
